Closure Actiris Coordination Platform project update 2022
Within the framework of the IOM technical support in cooperation with the Directorate General for Structural Reform Support the European Commission (DG REFORM) through the Technical Support Instrument (TSI), the Actiris Coordination Platform (ACP) was launched in November 2021. Following discussion rounds with stakeholders active in the field of labour market integration of newcomers in the BCR and best practices research, the conceptual specifications of the Platform were documented in a user-friendly Guide Booklet available in French, Dutch and English.
Actiris embarked in the piloting of the Platform with IOM support. This entailed first the kick-off and gradual consolidation of several Thematic Committees. These represent the core of the ACP where like-minded organisations working on similar topics can network, exchange knowledge, and collaborate on concrete initiatives and practical solutions in an autonomous and sustainable way. Actiris also focused on developing the LinkedIn Group of the Platform that was created as an interim digital support for the Platform community, pending the development of the ACP website initially conceptualized.
Actiris, as coordinating entity, will pursue the piloting of the ACP while integrating it in its broader reform process in support of newcomers. The ACP is flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the field and of its future members for increased sustainability.
For more information on the ACP or to join the Thematic Committees above, please contact Brechje Moerman at coordinationplatform@actiris.be.
