The Equalcity Project is off to a great start for 2021! Thanks to the updates provided by our partners, we have composed 4 newsletters on the current progress of our toolboxes. Together, we are developing practical toolboxes that will empower frontline workers and migrants, including 2nd and 3rd generation, by raising awareness on sexual and gender-based violence and migrants’ rights in more than 35 Trainee Cities.
Our toolboxes cover the following topics:
- Creation of safe(r) spaces for LGBTQI+ people with a migrant background
- Sexual and Gender-Based Violence against migrant women and girls
- Assistance to unaccompanied Migrant Children (UMC)
- Parenting in a new country and preventing violence in a family context
