Would you like to contribute to the development of Tunisia?

We have the solution!

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) – The United Nations Migration Agency - in collaboration with the Belgian Federal Government, is providing a unique opportunity for Belgian companies to employ a Tunisian young student or graduate for a 6-month internship/ apprenticeship. The internship would allow the trainee to develop his/her competences and increase his/her chances to find a job in the Tunisian labour market upon return. You decide on whether or not to set-up follow-up activities in Tunisia after the internship, depending on your needs.

What is in it for you?

  • The possibility to be involved in the trainee selection procedure.
  •  The availability of an intern for 6 months with the following characteristics:
    • A profile that matches your requirements/ needs;
    • A good linguistic competence in at least French, Arabic, and possibly English.
  • The freedom to structure the internship/apprenticeship with the trainee
  • Trainee guidance and assistance from IOM Belgium and IOM Tunisia during the internship period, but also during the labour market integration in Tunisia (an additional 5 months).
  • No administrative paperwork (visa, housing, etc.). IOM will take care of this.
  • The trainee will be provided with a housing and transport allocation. You are free to top-up that amount with an allocation for daily subsistence.
  • Visibility of the enterprise on all promotional material and on the project page of the IOM website.
